How can I get you my file and what size should it be?
There are a bunch of file templates in the "templates" section up top for you to use.  The file can be 435 pixels wide x 413 pixels high @ 300 dpi.  If you want, I can resize your image, but this translates to 1.45 inches wide x 1.377 inches high. The proportion is slightly wider than a square because it actually looks more balanced and appears to be square.  Files less than 150 pixels/dpi wont turn out too great, so dont send them. 300dpi or more is preferred and will get you a good quality image.  If you'd like to send 600 dpi or anything higher than 300 resolution images, that is fine too.

The better quality your image, the better you belts will look.  I can accept .jpg, .tif, .psd, .pdf or illustrator files. All images may be emailed to me.  Images can be emailed in either CMYK or RGB format color. It is good to know that the colors may alter slightly becuase different computers and printers have varying color profiles.  If you send a psd/photoshop file, please rasterize all text.  Neon colors that are RGB once converted will not be as saturated.

How big should my image be for silkscreened belts?
The image can be as long as 21 inches long for single print but cannot be taller than 1.25 inches and should also be 300 dpi. A design with text 1 inch tall provides a good centered, balanced fit on the belt and 1.25 inches is for a full bleed from edge to edge. Really fine lines will not turn out as well, ie, a thin cursive font that is barely visible as is.  Please keep in mind that if you want the image "centered in the back" that will change with everyone because their waist size differs. I can put the image in the center of the belt in the back, but please be aware.

The min order is now 24, can I still get a smaller quantity like before?
You can email in regard, but things have gotten a bit crazy and my ability to make smaller orders is a lot harder. Traditionally, the smaller the order, the more complicated they seem to be. If you have properly sized artwork at 300 dpi and are not looking to get 12 belts made with 3 each of 4 different designs, then please feel free to email about availability. If you are an existing customer looking for a re-order, I will do any quantity needed.

Where do i send my images and what do you need for a price quote?
email them to greg@milestogobelts.com
For an accurate price quote, i will need your image, the amount of belts needed and your zip code/country for shipping costs.

How long will it take to get my belts?
The usual turn around time is about 10-15 business days(2-3 weeks) from when the order is recieved and payed for.  Once made, the belts need a full week to set before i can mail them.  The whole process takes about 8 days from start to finish before they could even be mailed.  Belts getting both processes done may take a little longer.

What color belts do you offer?
check out the fabric link up top to see what i currently have in stock.

Custom order colors available:
Purple, Gold, Hunter Green, Fuchsia, Royal Blue, Maroon, Teal, Turquoise, Kelly Green, Charcoal, Beige, & Grey
If you really want one of these colors please contact me because if im placing an order soon with the manufacturer, i might be able to get a lower quantity made up and tossed in with my order.  I can get these fabric colors with any color buckle: chrome/ black or bronze.  Customized color matching for fabric is possible for large orders, if your interested, please contact me.

Can i take an image from a website?
90% of the time, the answer will be NO!. When an image is posted on a web site, the dpi is usually 72dpi, which is virtually unprintable. In cases where the image is pretty large, there is a chance of me being able to save it.  If you are not sure how to design an image with the right qualities, ask a friend who knows these programs to help out.
You may send me your image and I can attempt to resize it properly, but a poor quality image will print poorly regardless. I dont want either of us to not be happy with the outcome, but in the end it is your image. If i think you need a better quality image, i will definately say so.  I can attempt to crop your image to the right size, but please keep in mind the dimensions and what may be lost. The images are slightly wider than a square.

How are the belts mailed?
I ship most packages UPS or USPS priority.

How can i pay for my order?
Payment may be made through PayPal at www.paypal.com sending the money to greg@milestogobelts.com
You may also pay by check or money order, but those orders will not be made until payment is recieved and/or cleared.

Do you mail overseas?
YES! I can mail orders anywhere and have mailed all over the world and its no problem.
I suggest using airmail or ups, but i will mail using the boats if you want, but it takes about 4-6 weeks.

May I get more than one image per order?
Yes, I can do multiple images per order.  Offering two/ three design options to your fans can increase sales from people who might buy/want multiple belts.  You can add an additional image on any order for $5 per new design , providing you with whatever split you want.   This is a great option for labels looking to get belts made for several bands on their roster.

Do you sponsor bands?
No, I do not sponsor bands. I am not a clothing company looking for people to rock my shirts in public. Consider me like the shirt printer who creates your merch for you. You wouldnt ask them for tons of free stuff either. So, please don't send me the "im in a band and wondered if you sponsor them because we'd like belts but we're broke." emails.  I help out my customers the best I can with word of mouth by telling others about their stuff.

What size are the belts?
All belts come with 44" inches of 1 1/4" wide fabric.  I do this because it makes it easier to offer one size that is easily modified to your fans and it saves merch space.  To customize the belts, all the fan has to do is to cut the excess off the one end with a pair of scissors, that easy.  54" inch chrome/black and black/black versions are available for .50 extra per belt.
I can get 54" in any color, but it must be for orders of at least a dozen.   I keep the black/chrome and black/black in stock though.

Can my image be color and what about bleeds?

Images may be full color or black and white, it makes no difference in the pricing. You may also use full bleeds which means your image can go with color all the way to the edge. There is no need for a border.

What are the belts made of?
All belts are made of heavy duty cotton webbing material for the belt band.  Buckles are metal with a sliding clip, similar to boy scout/skateboard/military belts.  The image is sealed and well protected under a glass like finish to protect it from any abuse and wear and tear
.  Plus, the belts are Vegan friendly!!!

I'm in a small band and we only want 3 belts made, is that o.k?
I no longer do orders below 24 for new customers, but if you need just a few samples, you can email.

Can i buy that belt in your samples section?
No. Try the web store of the band or clothing line in mention. I make the belts for the customers and they sell them to their fans.

I'm not in a band, but i would still like to get belts made, is that cool?
Of course!  Maybe your into propaganda, have a clothing company, want sXe vegan rights belts, whatever, I will make your belts.  Any source of independent art is appriciated and I will make belts with anything you want.  But, I will not supply belts to any group promoting sexist, racist or homophobic values or images, your business is not welcome! I do have a moral line of what i am willing to have my work represent. So, if i dont feel comfortable making your designs, i will let you know. I support all forms of art, but i also support my right to deny an order due to content.
